“The Law, Your Money and You” Showcases the Rotary Club’s Good Work

Throughout the world, thousands of Rotarians have been making a difference in the lives of people who are less fortunate than they.  “The Law, Your Money and You,” a consumer awareness television show produced in Sharon, Massachusetts, recently hosted an on-site special program at a meeting of the Sharon Rotary Club.  In “Live at the Rotary:  The Law, Your Money and You,”  Camille Barron, a Rotary Club member, and her co-producer Roberta Saphire, an attorney, interviewed Club members who described some of the goodwill projects underway at their local Club and internationally.

“The theme of ‘The Law, Your Money and You’ is consumer education on financial and legal topics,” says Roberta Saphire.  “But it’s not only about issues that affect us personally; it is also about giving back, and that is how the Rotary Club makes the world a better place.”

“The Rotary Club of Sharon has helped thousands of people in our community and throughout the world,” adds Camille Barron.  “We want to spread the message so that other Clubs can expand their reach and attract more members.  The more members we have in Rotary, the more good we can do.”

“Live at the Rotary: The Law, Your Money and You” airs on Sharon Community TV, Channel 8, on Monday, April 15th  at 10:30 AM and 8:30 PM.  It will be repeated Wednesday, April 17th at 11:30 AM and 8:00 PM.  It also runs on the cable television channels in many surrounding towns, so check the local schedules to find out when it will be on in your community.
